Art is all I have

My path to art started as a child watching my older brother draw. I was always competing with him to be the better drawer and eventually succeeded. But as my life grew so did my art and my understanding of what art really is. The more I created the more I realized the power of creative intelligence and how it was the fundamental tool for progression in all of the human race. Art is the most evolved aspect of human existence and should be respected as such. That is why I want to learn as much as I can about art and its techniques for expression. My journey in art is a life long journey but a life long reward as well. We are all artist in a way I just don’t think most people know it.

I think the “contemporary old master” is Salvador Dali, because he was the most recent master in my opinion. His psychological insight and his craftsmanship have been the best to date so far.

My favourite artist is Caravaggio, I love his realism and respect that he made himself a villain.

My main challenge in art is to be able to express myself clearly, technique and discipline are the roadways of expression for the soul.
