I started painting when I was 58. My father was an artist and I wished I could do what he could. I was and still am afraid to fail. At times it cripples me. I stare at a page worried that i will mess up. As I age I have no fear of death. My fear is being forgotten I hope to develop a following. So people will know who I was. I believe an artist is never truly dead as long as his art survives. …
