Old young learner…
Feedback from Rezarta
I tried drawing when I was 8 but apparently no one noticed I was doing good. Maybe I tried a couple of times that age and then let it go although I remember a perfect copy of a portrait drawing from an encyclopedia. Never again did I try until last year (age 33).
None of my family or friends were interested or involved in arts so I was afraid of them making fun of me.
I secretly bought and tried a cheap oil starter set. I was thrilled and surprised. I did not show any of my works until I was sure I had done something good. It turned out that people liked them and encouraged me to go further. So here I am eager to learn and ordering a blank canvas before even finishing another.
It’s not easy paralelly being a young mom but painting gave me life. I don’t know how far I will go but I’m definitely enjoying the ride. And finally, since the style of an artist is haunted by that of his teacher, if not desperate, I would be at least honoured to be taught by Web Art Academy.
My favourite artist is Rembrandt, because I just cant take away my gaze from his paintings, I cannot define wether it is the composition or the mastering of the brush that keeps me admiring his work.
