My highly uncertain,dependent future

My name is Rromessa Rahman Shinwari (female) and i am 17 years old. I have developed great interest in art since my childhood, not that i had some inspirational personalities in my life. Both my parents are terrible at art.

I take art as something where I express my feelings through every brush stroke and every line i make. I use it as a tool to express my feelings.

Sometimes you cannot just simply blurt out and tell your feelings to anyone and so I take art as something where I can take an escape from the real world. something which I can use to pour out all my frustration and happiness, together. Although, I love painting and things, but then there are many things which hinders my progression of refining my art skills. first of all, I do not have the specific art equipment other than a few brushes, a “pelican” watercolour paints set and quite a large range of “poster paints”. secondly, I am not at all familiar with different art techniques neither do I have any experience of attending any art courses because they are not available in the city which I live. other than this, since I am growing so I now have to give my GCE o’level exams due to which I am not able to contribute a lot of my time to painting et. other than in summer vacations.

What really catches my interest in art is oil painting and I am really looking forward to learning different techniques in how to oil paint and use the paint or how to give the painting glossy looks etc. I mainly prefer painting different scenes taken from aour day to day life e.g. a scene from a bust market or the sun setting etc.

I actually want to win the Web Art Academy course because I badly want to be good at something where at least if I am expressing my feelings then I think this expression should also be in a very professional and appealing way and I believe web art academy alone can provide me with this opportunity since no art courses are held in our city.

After you have read my story, I leave the decision on you. If you think I deserve it then well and good but if you feel that there is someone who deserves more than I do, then I think you should go for that person.
