Painting as my journey

I am a easy going, organized and like helping other. I come form London and as worked as a carer for number of years. As A child I grew up on my own no sisters or brother. Art was something that came into my life very early on. I liked watching Disney cartoons so I would copy the drawings and that where my love grew and I taught my self to draw.

Art is very important in my life, it a place I can go to be with me. It gives me so much understanding of the world around me. A way to communicate using colour and form .
The challenges I have with creating paintings is to produce something from my imagination or to understand composition to create a very interesting piece using the word or feeling from my mind.

I would like to win this course because I want to develop my drawing and art skills I see there is so much for me to learn. I would like to go to atelier art school but its so much money which I could not afford, and work at the same time. I would like to paint like the old masters to keep the tradition going.
How to create a portrait, how to create a painting that has a story…a way to use the paint and know what I’m doing.

People should vote for me because…all I can say is that I love what I do, I’m 43 years old and I would like to progress in my skills and be a full time painter. I know age has nothing to do with it but it would be a dream come true, to paint like the old masters…Its my passion…thats all I can say.
Its will be like getting a scholarship..
