A lifetime of art enjoyment!

I have always been interested in art and excelled in grammar school. I have always enjoyed all types of art & crafts project. More recently I learned acrylic “tole painting” and became very good at it. One of my teachers suggested I try Oils after watching my style of painting. I took classes in landscape, portraits, and florals. I am proud of all of my paintings.

I am trying to make more time in my life for painting as I know I cannot get better without investing time into it. I would like to advance my skill level but don’t always have time for a formal class and they do not offer classes at times I can attend or the projects are not interesting to me. This is why this fine art course is very interesting to me.

My favourite artist is John Singer Sargeant, I like his style.

My main challenge in art is blending colors to get the color I want.

I also want to know how to choose a subject of my own and know how to go about painting it and be pleased with the results.
