The journey of an artist is long. It is filled with trials and errors of which ones laughs off and continues.
I am a visual artist based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. A section of my bedroom is my studio. My current medium is oil on canvas.
I started drawing while in primary school inspired by illustrators in cowboys comic books.l remember trying to copy famous cowboys at that time, Kit Carlson, Roy Rogers and Buffalo Bill. I wanted to draw as good as them but failed. Got angry. My grandmother and teachers encouraged me to practice, practice and practice.
