Art is a special door to experience and understanding

I have always been very interested in drawing and painting and at 12 years of age an art dealer showed me the basics of oil painting. I just loved it and I painted my first landscape in oil.

My parents supported my interest and I got artist oil colors as Christmas and birthday gift – and I was totally lost in the joy of color – since then I never stopped painting. I was first inspired by the Danish painter Oluf Høst and later I was influenced by abstract art. At the same time I was attracted to poetic and Cosmic art, as the Spanish artist Miro and Russian artist Mark Chagall.

I really happy to find this beautiful course in classical and Contemporary techniques. It has been a great help to fill out missing links to what I have found in my ongoing passionate work with oil painting and imaginative thinking. Art is a very special way of experiencing and sharing what is important in life.
