I’m a novice with an interest in oil painting of both landscapes and portraiture. Art is my escape from a world of numbers and accounting. I simply would like to learn.

I would like to win simply because it would allow me to learn at my own pace. I have this interest in learning the techniques of the Hudson River school and I’m a big fan of Rembrandt.

I’m financially strapped at this time. I’m hoping that people vote for me so I can try to see how far I can go with art.
