My reason for joining the art course was to learn more about art supplies, the history of art and different art styles, so that I could grow as an artist.
My skills before I took the course, I’d say were pretty decent, but I wanted to expand my skills and I felt limited by only being self taught.
I wanted to learn from someone that had knowledge and who had studied the old masters, which is what I myself always had wanted to do.
The drawing of the eye: “Still standing strong” is a pencil drawing from 2011.
The benefit of this new knowledge is the creative freedom I feel. I feel empowered to try new things, and I know how to do it.
I absolutely feel that what I have learnt is very valuable – it was the type of course I had been looking for.
The oil painting of the Nautilus seashell “Nautilus Borealis” is from 2015, after I did the course.
I would recommend the Web Art Academy to anyone with an interest in fine art. What you learn here will benefit you, no matter what art style you are interested in.
