The Road Less Travelled

I have drawn and painted all my life.
It’s who I am.

Yet I find I am never satisfied and always yearning to learn,expand and further developed my skills.
I have won awards and also pioneered several art groups and creative recovery course as well as performance painted for 8 years with a band.

I am currently teaching visual art at a local college as part of a community developer and art BA.
Having given out so much for many years I really want to focus now on developing my own art work now.

I think the “contemporary old master” is Rembrandt he was groundbreaking in his expertise of glazing and realism.

My favourite artist is Caravaggio , love the use of light.

My main challenge in art is to create an illusion of depth and lifelikeness.
