Feedback from Levi

My name is Levi. I’m from Brazil, I live in a small town at Ceará state.
I’m 22 now, I always loved to see art, and mainly how all these amazing things are made. It serves to everything, when I like something instead of just buy, I like to know how it is made. Since I was a kid I loved to draw and paint, I feel that I’m nice copying simple drawings, so I decided to learn how to draw, I bought some books and I did read them… and I can say that they helped me to improve, but I still not happy with my results, so I’m always searching stuff to learn how to draw/paint but they are very expensive for me, and them I found the drawing academy and web art academy, and I realized that this is what I was searching, to learn the fundamentals and the right path in understand how to draw and paint with the right way.

I already participate a lot here trying to win the course, With survey, with Art contest and I told a lot of friends about these website. Not successfully and feeling my drawing not improving gets me a bit demotivated already that I don’t have much time to dedicate just for art, and not knowing if someday I’ll get there but I’m still trying. My advice for anyone here is to give it a chance for the web art/drawing academy method, is awesome to see people to change their lives after they started here and made their dreams come true.

I’ll keep trying until I win or someday when I be able to buy I’ll be happy to contribute for these two great artists that fight for the beautiful classic art doesn’t die.

My favorite artists are John Singer Sargent and Caravaggio. I like the Sargent painting because I like the way he make the portraits, still conserving the painted look, and Caravaggio i like the stories and how he plays with lights behind the painting.

My main challenges in art are depicting realism and make the colors rich. I also would like to know how to properly make a nice look for the color when painting and give a good lighting vibe.

I want to learn classical art, but go to a contemporary art school or atelier isn’t an option for me, where I live there’s no such things.
