Returning to a passion
Feedback from Wayne Alllen
I am 66 and have returned to a passion I have had since I was in grade school – art.
My perfect day is browsing an art museum, especially the art in the 1500-1600 time frame. If those masters only had the quality materials and tools we have now – what great things they could accomplish.
My ultimate goal would be to attend an art school in Europe but time is running out.
I started drawing a little over a year ago with graphite pencils, red only pencils like in the Drawing Academy course, and now with Polychromo color pencils.
I want to learn more about drawing portraits and the human body. Drawing landscapes or still life does not appeal to me as a portrait must be totally accurate. Portraits and the human figure is my biggest challenge.
