Thirst and Passion

I was born in Downey, Calif. May 20, 1955 (today’s date).
As early as I could remember, I had the passion and desire to becoming an artist, and told my mother so when I was only 5 years old. I soon saw that my drawing skills were different than my classmates as far as detail and accuracy, and continued to draw as much as I could.

In High School, being from a low income and rural area, there was no art instruction to gain any other knowledge from, so I continued to spend hours on my own after school drawing everything from National Geographic and other magazines I found interesting. I finally was able to obtain son limited skills from my Junior College professor who took interest in my passion for knowledge.
