A lifetime of art enjoyment!

Feedback from David Anderson

I have always been interested in art and excelled in grammar school. I have always enjoyed all types of art & crafts project. More recently I learned acrylic “tole painting” and became very good at it. One of my teachers suggested I try Oils after watching my style of painting. I took classes in landscape, portraits, and florals. I am proud of all of my paintings. …

Inner souls desperate desire.

Inner souls desperate desire.

Feedback from Steve Emmons

I studied art at Curtin University in Western Australia and graduated with a BA in fine arts. But what prevailed at the time was abstract expressionistic style painting and very contemporary art. I feel like I always had a love and passion for the old masters and classical painting but missed out on that grounding while studying. …

Graffiti to Fine Artist

Graffiti to Fine Artist

Feedback from Shawnta W.

Well it all start with graffiti.
Being a kid in the back seat of a car on the freeway, you always see graffiti everywhere in California. The different colors and technique inspired me and I wanted to try it. That was when I was in elementary. Me doing graffiti slowly turn into me drawing cartoon character on paper and clothes. It didn’t help that one of my older cousins had this Warmer Bros animation art book (the characters and creators). By this time I was in Jr. High but I was more into fashion than art. The whole art thing didn’t really hit me until later on in high school.

Painting saved my life

Painting saved my life

Feedback from R Hamc

I always was a creative person, but never made any art. When I got ill badly and couldn’t work anymore, being at home all the time depressed me, so I started to look for a way to spend my time in activity. Because I always loved art and because I knew that I was creative I started to paint. It helped me to relax and gave me a new challenge in life. After the first compliments I got for my paintings, I was proud and so it went on. …

Set yourself free

Set yourself free

Feedback from Linda Udd

Art is not about a pretty picture. It is about having something to say and being able to say it well and powerful through excellent composition, right choice of color or no color, right choice of subject and being able to apply all of one’s faculties: emotion, intellect, force, psychological make-up, to dance with the mysteries and allow them to come up and not sabotage the moment. Most of us get married to an idea instead of setting the idea free and allow the journey to begin. …

A Dream Come True

A Dream Come True

Feedback from Adrianne Moro

I love art since I was a child, but I only had the opportunity to study later in life. It was always my dream to study all the techniques and try to create in different mediums, but oil panting is my true passion. I wanted to excel somehow in figure painting and for doing this I need to learn the right techniques that would change my life forever. I am so excited about this that I have been following the Web Art Academy for many years.

Changes in life.

Changes in life.

Feedback from Álex Ruiz Pino

I have always love painting (my mother is an oil painter), but I studied music and audiovisuals, activities that I have realized during 30 years. The life is presenting me the opportunity to paint and live mi dream. I still can not believe it, but I am going for that opportunity. I am 51 years old but that makes me even happier about it.

I want you to say it is very, very, very interesting what you are doing… it seems that the world is changing for me and for many others.
