My dream in life would be able to travel and paint what I see.
I love both the technical and creative aspects of art.
These courses would help me to fully grasp the concepts I’m lacking.
You are never too old to learn, and I believe I can learn a lot from the course.

I am caregiver to my Mom and spend many hours at home, unable to dedicate time to any work place. My income is limited to what I can earn as a Freelance Graphic Artist, which I attended college to learn and graduated with honors. Taking care of my Mom and having cared for my Grandmother for the last 20 years as well, has taken much away from my life and artistic ventures. I am finally at a place in time where I can dedicate hours to pursuing further education in the fine arts.
I love the Masters’ works and lean towards realism in my approach to art. My greatest wish and desire is to learn the way of the Masters. To refine my skills to produce amazing works. …

The journey of an artist is long. It is filled with trials and errors of which ones laughs off and continues.
I am a visual artist based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. A section of my bedroom is my studio. My current medium is oil on canvas.
I started drawing while in primary school inspired by illustrators in cowboys comic books.l remember trying to copy famous cowboys at that time, Kit Carlson, Roy Rogers and Buffalo Bill. I wanted to draw as good as them but failed. Got angry. My grandmother and teachers encouraged me to practice, practice and practice.
The practice paid of. Had it not been for art that I learned as a subject all the way from primary to advanced levels of education l wouldn’t have qualified for pursuing graduate studies in science education. …

Hi there awesome people, for the past 24 year I have been hiv + and early on I was told to do art as part of therapy.
Not having formal training I struggle to express myself and translating my ideas to canvas.
If you should ask me how art has helped me cope with the struggles of life I would say “hallo my brush and good morning color, lets unwhite my life with strokes, however crooked” …

I have been a career woman in the health and social services all my life until I became sick with a chronic illness – lupus, about 15 years ago. I have now retired at the age of 60 and have discovered that art is my love and my therapy. I find I have an urge to express myself through drawing and sketching, but mainly through paint on canvas.
When painting, I become lost in time and place, and yet I live in the present. It is hard to describe, but I am sure every artist understands. I want to be able to draw and paint with confidence, knowing that my final piece will be an accurate reflection of my mind, (or my soul as I feel sometimes), and not just an unskillful mess on the canvas! …

Retirement has given me the greatest opportunity to pursue my dreams in the spiritual world of creative art where all things are possible in the eye of the mind.
In order to pursue my journey to the stars I would like to learn as much as I can and grow through knowledge of Web Art Academy and its teachings.
Art is the main centre of everything I do, reading, viewing studying my surroundings, people animals and nature. …

My name is Jessica and I´m a 24 year old from Sweden. I would say that art is my purpose in life and I’m really hoping and struggling to make a living out of it one day.
I have a short education of modern method of painting and drawing but it wasn’t really my thing and I taught myself how to paint and draw in a classic manner. My challenges are the missing “ingredients” in color theory and anatomy therefore drawing things from imagination is almost to me impossible sometimes. …

I have drawn and painted since my childhood. I leaned toward fantasy and comic book art as a teenager and thought my future lied in illustration.
I applied and was admitted to a number of art schools including Carnegie Melon, Brown / RISD, Temple Tyler and ultimately chose Syracuse.
I became convinced that I was talented and creative enough to change direction and drifted into a painting major. Alas college life was not for me and I quit, convinced that I was learning nothing and could learn more by doing. The ego of youth. I drifted around the fringes of being serious about art and had a few opportunities in advertising and graphic design but never had the discipline to take it to the level needed to make it a career. …

I am a teenager who lives in a country where people with degree can’t find a job. You can work at a private company and be treated like a trash, paid poorly of course.
It’s rear to work what you love and most of intellectual people leave my country. I don’t want to have same destiny as them, so I stayed at school, it’s going well but the problem is that we don’t have the art class, the only thing I enjoy studying in which I can get much better and try to getting in art university, it would be a dream come true. …

I have been retired for the last 2 years and have regained my love of drawing portraits and full body sketches.
I managed to do a short life drawing class whilst still working and it helped me immensely, having said that I would love to improve my art to a higher degree and feel that the Art Academy course would let me achieve this. …
