I don’t want to let my talent wane like my mother did. …
My mother used to make doodles of faces or eyes every time she was on the phone. I never realized how well she could draw until I was older. She never did any other form of art except those mindless phone call doodles.
I have loved drawing since I was a child, and worked very hard from 10 to 18 to become good at drawing. I went to school for art, but was pressured to get a “real” education and received a degree in Industrial Design. …

I love to draw but don’t much as I need to learn to draw better.
I have been a single mom of 3, never had time for art, work 2 jobs and am about to rid one, and would like to pursue my dream of leaning about drawing and painting now that my children are grown and I won’t be working as much!

I have left art for more than 23 years since 1992 when I was so busy with the scientific research in the Faculty of Science, to get the B. Sc. in Geology, M. Sc., Ph. D. degrees, the post-doctoral research and to get the Scientific Titles of “Associate Professor” and “Professor” in the field of “Hydrogeology” in September 2015.
Yes, I have left it for all of these years but I didn’t forget it as it was imprinted in my heart and deep soul. From time to time, I looked at it with sadness and heartbreak for my life and responsibilities didn’t allow me to touch it despite my love and passion. …

I am almost 39 years old. Have been working in the IT area for more than 15 years and what I love most in the IT world is graphic design, web design, and mostly digital painting. It inspires me due to the fact that I love art a lot.
I have discovered that I know how to draw when I was 12 years old. I never took lessons to advance but I always felt that art is part of who I am. Presently I am trying to study human anatomy to enable me to draw human figures in any positions. We all know that human figure is one of the most hard to accomplish. I want to study it because I would like to use it in my drawings such as comics or digital painting. …

I am a recent graduate from an art program of a school for adult continuing education. I sacrificed a lot to move my residency to another city just to learn art; learnt a lot but I still need to add to my artistic skills and confidence.
I love realistic approach to art making and working from life. I used to work by coping from nature what I was seeing and coping it to my support. …

I have always been interested in art and excelled in grammar school. I have always enjoyed all types of art & crafts project. More recently I learned acrylic “tole painting” and became very good at it. One of my teachers suggested I try Oils after watching my style of painting. I took classes in landscape, portraits, and florals. I am proud of all of my paintings. …

I studied art at Curtin University in Western Australia and graduated with a BA in fine arts. But what prevailed at the time was abstract expressionistic style painting and very contemporary art. I feel like I always had a love and passion for the old masters and classical painting but missed out on that grounding while studying. …

Well it all start with graffiti.
Being a kid in the back seat of a car on the freeway, you always see graffiti everywhere in California. The different colors and technique inspired me and I wanted to try it. That was when I was in elementary. Me doing graffiti slowly turn into me drawing cartoon character on paper and clothes. It didn’t help that one of my older cousins had this Warmer Bros animation art book (the characters and creators). By this time I was in Jr. High but I was more into fashion than art. The whole art thing didn’t really hit me until later on in high school.
